Process begins to scrutinize performance of police on PM directions August 19, 2020

ISLAMABAD- On the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan, a process has been started to scrutinize the performance of police department.
A performance report of police officials has been prepared keeping in view the resolution of public complaints on Citizens Portal.
Three DPOs of Punjab have been issued with show cause notices and reply has been sought from them in seven days.
The Inspector General Punjab police has warned the officers to improve their performance.
According to the Prime Minister office, Inspector General Police Punjab has also appreciated the best performing officers.
Meanwhile, show cause notices have been issued to six police officers of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over their poor performance.
