Pakistan's direction set towards welfare state in last two years biggest achievement: PM August 19, 2020

ISLAMABAD- Prime Minister Imran Khan says his biggest achievement in last two years of government is setting Pakistan's direction towards becoming a welfare state.
In an interview with a private news channel on completion of two years of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government, he said Riyasat-e-Madina was a unique Riyasat, in which uplifting downtrodden segment of society was the foremost priority.
He said Ehsaas Program is proving a milestone in steering poor segment of society out of poverty. He said our government laid special emphasis on construction sector in order to provide employment opportunities to downtrodden segment of the society.
He said government is committed to provide cheap electricity to people and several steps have been taken in this regard.
Regarding coronavirus pandemic, Prime Minister said the situation is much better and under control in Pakistan. He said smart lockdown proved very helpful in overcoming the pandemic.
Imran Khan said future of the country is in the rule of law and the government is committed to ensure it in the best interest of the country.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan enjoys excellent and cordial relations with Saudi Arabia which has always supported Pakistan in the hour of trial. He said, as per the vision of Quaid-i-Azam, Pakistan will never recognize Israel until the people of Palestine attain their due rights. The Prime Minister said future of Pakistan is connected with China. He said China politically defended Pakistan at every forum.
