KP government expedites work on 8 small dams

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has expedited work on construction of eight small dams in the province .
Official sources told our Peshawar correspondent Matiullah that three dams are being constructed in Nowshera and one each in Kohat, Swabi, Abbottabad and Haripur districts.
On completion of the dams , twenty thousand acres of barren land will be brought under cultivation in these districts.
