AJK Elections: Local bodies election to be held in AJK

MIRPUR (APP): Local bodies elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K) would be held in December this year, said AJ&K Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider.
Addressing a ceremony of Women Action Forum in the capital city on Thursday, the PM assured that his newly elected PML-N government was committed to hold the local body (LB) elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir in all circumstances in December.
"We will leave no stone unturned to provide employment opportunities for the jobless people of the State on merit", he said.
While speaking about the rights of women in AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan announced that he would soon create a separate complaint cell for women in Prime Minister secretariat in Muzaffarabad.
Chairperson Women Action Forum Shaheen Kousar Dar, Bilqees Rasheed Advocate, Taqdees Gillani, Asad Qureshi,Raja Raza Ali Khan, Raja Mubashir Ejaz, Bashrat Mughal also addressed the ceremony.
