US State Department new statement on Pakistani government

The US State Department says it wants to work with the new government in Pakistan on regional and international issues.
According to reports, US State Department spokesman Ned Price said that the United States views Pakistan as an important partner and important partner for a secure, stable and prosperous Afghanistan.
He said that US has been and will continue to work with Pakistan on Afghanistan, especially for an Afghanistan that respects the fundamental rights of its citizens, including minorities, women and girls.
