Pakistani visitors can now get on arrival visa for this country

*ISLAMABAD - Pakistani visitors to Sri Lanka can get free visas on arrival from May 1, Khaleej Times link reported.*
In an aim to boost its tourism industry, the South Asian country is rolling out free visas on arrival for citizens of 36 countries.
The Sri Lankan government will offer the promotion starting May 1 to travellers from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea, The Independent link reported.
Sri Lanka’s minister of tourism development, John Amaratunga, had said earlier that Sri Lanka hopes to extend the free visa scheme to Chinese tourists and citizens of SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries — Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, and Pakistan.
