ISLAMABAD – Director General of ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor saysPakistan desires peace but any misadventure shall be respondedeffectively.

He was interacting with a delegation of Journalists from Gilgit Baltistan,Azad Kashmir and Hazara division in Rawalpindi on Monday.

The Director General ISPR briefed the delegation about the situation alongthe Line of Control and the Indian ceasefire violations deliberatelytargeting innocent civilians.

Major General Asif Ghafoor said Pakistan Army is a professional andresponsible force. He said that despite restricted liberty of action forresponse to Indian fire due to presence of our Kashmiri brethren on bothsides of LoC, Indian fire is always effectively responded focusing onIndian posts only.

The journalists shared their feedback on security situation and developmentwork undertaken by Pakistan Army in their respective territories.
