Petrol shortages in multiple cities across Pakistan

The Oil Tankers Association has taken the decision to cease the distribution of both petrol and diesel across various cities.
This action has been initiated by the owners of these oil tankers, who have collectively decided to halt the supply of these fuels in different urban centers. This move has raised significant concerns regarding the potential for a shortage of petrol, stemming from its limited availability.
According to the Tankers Association's statement, the suspension of petrol supply extends to multiple locations, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Azad Kashmir, Hazara, Attock, and Gilgit. In light of these circumstances, oil tanker proprietors are asserting their demands.
They are calling for a substantial allocation, specifically 65%, of the White Oil Pipeline transportation for their use. Additionally, they are requesting an increase in rental rates and the restoration of older vehicles to their fleet.
