Former Senator dubs Pervaiz Elahi's arrest as Mockery of Courts

Former senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar strongly criticized the detention of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President Parvez Elahi, suggesting that all his problems could be resolved if he were to announce his departure from the party during a press conference.
Khokhar stated, "The bail and arrest of Chaudhry Parvez Elahi for more than 12 times is a mockery of court orders and is condemnable." He went on to emphasize that it's a "fact" that if Elahi were to hold a press conference and part ways with PTI, it would resolve not only his issues but also those of others.
Khokhar cautioned against treating politicians like sheep, as it has not yielded positive results in the past and is unlikely to do so in the future. These remarks from the former senator came shortly after Parvez Elahi, who had previously served as Punjab chief minister, faced another legal case.
A court approved his temporary remand to Lahore at the request of Punjab's Anti-Corruption Establishment (ACE). This new case in Lahore involves allegations of misusing his power and position to make changes within the provincial bureaucracy.
Elahi had already been sent to jail on judicial remand in a separate case related to an attack on the Federal Judicial Complex (FJC). The approval of his one-day transitory remand was granted by ATC judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain after considering arguments presented by the anti-graft department.
