PM Imran Khan takes important decisions over revival of Pakistani film industry

Prime Minister Imran Khan has approved in principle measures to revive film Industry, promote our cultural and societal values.
This was stated by SAPM on Information and Broadcasting Asim Saleem Bajwa in a tweet today (Friday).
He said the Prime Minister, while chairing a meeting, also directed to improve production quality and take entertainment to masses. He asked the ministries concerned to prepare implementation plan in this regard.
Meanwhile, in a tweet today, Chairman Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed Khan said a comprehensive, effective and useful policy for revival of the film industry will be implemented soon which will benefit our culture, national narrative and tourism.
He said the film industry had declined to this level because previous governments had done nothing to promote it.
