Russia calls UN Security Council urgent meeting on Syria

UNITED NATIONS, Sept 17 (APP/AFP): Russia has strongly raised the issue of the coalition air strike on Syrian Army killing over 80 soldiers and seriously injuring over 100.
Russia has summoned the United Nations Security Council urgent meeting over the cease fire violations.
The UN Security Council will hold urgent consultations on Saturday after US-led coalition air strikes hit Syrian military positions, diplomats says.
Russia requested the meeting, which is set to take place from 7:30 pm (2330 GMT).
