'Pakistan ideal country for foreign investment': Canadian sociologists

SIALKOT: (APP) Canada based senior educationists and sociologists Dr. Michael Bopp and Dr. Judie Bopp on Tuesday said that Pakistan was an ideal country for foreign investment due to its fabulous geographical condition and natural resources.

They said this while talking to Muhammad Ejaz Noori, Chairman Pakistan Council for Social Welfare and Human Rights (PCSWHR) during their visit to PCSWHR offices in Sialkot.

District Governor Rotary International Mir Arif Ali and senior journalists were also present on the occasion.

They said that there was a dire need of proper utilization of the natural resources in Pakistan, saying that the proper utilization of natural resources was also vital for the multi-dimensional development and prosperity of the country.

They stated that global unity, peace, harmony had also become the need of the day for ensuring durable peace in the world and poverty alleviation as well.

Terrorism was a global challenge, therefore the international community should promote social tolerance and inter-faith harmony, provision of justice, social equality and basic rights to the people, they added.

On this occasion, PCSWHR chairman Muhammad Ejaz Noori said that Pakistan had ever played its frontline role for global peace, and in this regard it had given numerous sacrifices.
