Finance Advisor Hafeez Sheikh reveals positive development over exports front

ISLAMABAD - Adviser on Finance Hafeez Shaikh has said that the exports are increasing and the integrated policy is improving the economy.
Addressing a conference "Future Summit" via video link, the adviser said that the government is pursuing policies to ensure a sustainable economic prosperity.
He said that the country's economy is on positive trajectory regardless of coronavirus. He said the government gave an economic stimulus package to support the industries and poor segments of the society.
Hafeez Shaikh said the package to the construction industry has accelerated economic activities in the country. He further said the government took difficult decisions to ensure fiscal discipline. He said we have cut expenditures and no supplementary grants have been given to the ministries.
