NEW DELHI - In a worst now, 15 minutes pure oxygen shot will cost Rs 1080 in smog hit Indian Capital Delhi.

The worsening environmental conditions have given the entrepreneurs a new idea to work on. One such business has already opened in New Delhi, where the air quality index is alarmingly low, much like Lahore.

Oxygen Bar is allowing the fresh air deprived Indians to inhale flavored oxygen cocktails in 15-minute sessions for ₹500 which is equivalent to Rs 1,080. The residents of New Delhi are turning up at the bar in large numbers to freshen their minds as pure air has plenty of benefits.

“We are fortunate for this [Oxygen Bar]”, says Dr. Billi Gessat, a resident of Delhi who believes that it’s worth a try considering the poor air quality in the city.

The place, which opened in June this year, has been a hit recently with the wave of smog and choking pollution. The tagline for the OxyPure Oxygen Bar reads ‘A Breath of Fresh Air!’

The pollution-free oxygen now comes at a price like that of mineral water.

Oxygen bars aren’t a new concept in Pakistan. There were several oxygen bars around the country, however, they were closed down by the government a few years ago. Currently, an oxygen bar exists in Islamabad going by the name of O2 The Oxygen Lounge and the businessmen are likely to follow suit and grab the opportunity in both Pakistan and India.
