CTD arrests 2 ISIS terrorists in counter terrorism ops

RAWALPINDI: (APP) Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), following a tip off raided village Saanj, Tehsil Murree to nab Ehsan Satti and Imran Satti, DAISH terrorist who were planning to attack media houses in Islamabad.
The CTD conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in the wee hours of Friday who were present there alongwith another accomplice. They were asked to surrender but they opened fire on the force injuring 2 CTD officers. The terrorists also threw 2 hand grenades at the CTD Team.
According to CTD officials when firing stopped, Ehsan Satti was found dead, who was killed by his accomplices. Imran Satti and another managed to flee from the scene.
The CTD recovered IEDs, a rifle, a pistol, bullets and other explosive material.
It is learnt that these terrorists were involved in attack on I-9 Police post in which police officials were killed, and attack on ARY media house, Islamabad in 2015. Now they were planning more attacks on media houses & sensitive agencies.
Fleeing Imran Satti is stated to be head of DAISH in the area.
A FIR has been lodged and efforts were underway to arrest the fleeing terrorists.
