*LAHORE: For the issuance of **Chinese Visas to Pakistanis, Ambassador Yao Jing announced a new initiative in provincial capital of Lahore.*
*China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing on Thursday announced to open an embassy branch in Lahore for the issuance of Chinese visa from next month.*
The announcement came as the Chinese ambassador called on Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar and Chief Minister Usman Buzdar at their respective offices to discuss promotion of Pak-China relations, CPEC-related projects and expansion of bilateral cooperation in different sectors.
During the meeting, Sarwar told the envoy that investment, from different countries around the world, was coming to which shows that the South Asian has achieved political stability.
He added that Pakistan was also putting an effort to attract Chinese investors.
The Chinese ambassador said there existed a well-structured harmony between the ties of Pakistan and China.
“Those who conspire against the friendship of Pakistan and China are our enemies,” the governor said.
On the other hand, during the CM-ambassador meeting, Ambassador Jing shared the plan of opening an embassy’s branch in Lahore for the issuance of Chinese visa. He said Pakistani citizens would be facilitated in the issuance of Chinese visa as the branch would be made functional next month.
