IG Sindh urges women to report incidents of domestic violence

KARACHI: IG Sindh A.D.Khawaja has formally inaugurated the women and children protection desk in Karachi’s West zone on Thursday.
“The objective of establishing the Desk is to stop the incidents of harassment of women and children and initiate action against the culprits,” IG Sindh said.
The IG urged the women to report the incidents of domestic violence to police.
Mr. Khawaja called upon the representatives of media to create awareness among masses about the importance and role of women and children in the society.
DIG West Amir Farooqi, SSP West Omar Shahid Hamid and SSP Central Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Khan were also present on the occasion, said a statement. APP
