The European Union has strongly criticized US President Donald Trump for withdrawal from Iran nuclear deal.

Speaking at European Union heads of state summit in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, President of European Council, Donald Tusk slammed Trump over his decision.

He said the latest decisions by Trump are counter-productive.

The summit comes after Iran gave the EU 60 days to give necessary guarantees to safeguard Iranian interests and compensate the damages caused by the US pullout. APP
