ISLAMABAD: (APP) Pakistan-Belarus sign Custom Pact

Pakistan and Belarus have signed an agreement to exchange customs statistics on mutual trade.

A relevant agreement was signed after the meeting between Sergei Poluden, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian State Customs Committee, and Shaukat Ali, Director for Legal Affairs at the Federal Board of Revenue  of Pakistan, in Minsk on Tuesday, Belarusian news agency "BelTA" reported.

That was the first official visit organized at the level of the customs administrations of Pakistan and Belarus.

Sergei Poluden and Shaukat Ali noted that the signing of the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Pakistan on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters in Islamabad on November 10, 2015 was an important step in the bilateral customs cooperation.

During the meeting in Minsk, the parties discussed topical cooperation issues and agreed to draw up an international document that would enable exchange of customs statistics on mutual trade.
