KARACHI, May 18 (APP): ANF seizes huge quantity of drugs
Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), Sindh has seized a huge quantity of Hashish in two separate actions here from different areas and arrested the accused.
According to a statement, an ANF team under the supervision of Assistant Director, Faisal Mangi intercepted a passenger bus near Toll Plaza, Super Highway. During search, they recovered 229 kg of fine quality Hashish, concealed in 200 packets from hidden cavities of a bus and arrested an accused namely Khalil Hussain s/o Nazeer Hussain.
In another action, the ANF, PS Hyderabad, under the supervision of Assistant Director, Ghulam Abbas Memon raided a bus terminal at Mehar Bypass, Tehsil Mehar, district Dadu and arrested an accused Ali Akbar s/o Qurban Ali after recovery of 8 kg Hashish from his possession. Further investigations were underway.
