Quetta Gladiators beat Peshawar Zalmi to clinch maiden Pakistan Super League title

Two-time finalists Quetta Gladiators has again clinched the trophy of Pakistan Super League season four, defeating Peshawar Zalmi by 8 wickets tonight. 

Batting first Peshawar Zalmi scored 138 for 8 in allotted twenty overs.   

Quetta Gladiators achieved the target in 18 over for the loss of two wickets. 

Ahmed Shehzad scored 58 and RR Rossouw with 39 is the top scorer of Quetta Gladiators. 

Muhammad Hasnain is declared man of the match. 

Meanwhile, President Dr Arif Alvi and other prominent figures saw the final of 4th edition of Pakistan Super League between Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmay in Karachi last night. 

The other prominent figures present at the stadium included Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa. 

CLOSING CEREMONY 

The colourful concluding ceremony of fourth edition of Pakistan Super League was held at National Stadium Karachi. 

At the start of the ceremony one minute silence was observed to mourn the Christchurch tragedy. 

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Minister of State for Interior Shahryar Afridi and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa were also present on the occasion. 

Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Ahsan Mani announced on the occasion that next year all matches of PSL will be held in Pakistan.
