Govt taking steps to promote tourism in country: Fawad

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says the government is taking steps to promote tourism in the country.
He was talking to media persons after distributing awards, merit certificates and medals among participants of Pakistan International Culinary Festival competition 2019 in Lahore.
He said such competitions promote positive image of the country across the world and the government would also organize, support and promote such festivals in future to boost social and cultural activities.
The Information Minister said the issuance of on-arrival visa to citizens of fifty countries would help attract more tourists and businessmen to Pakistan.
