Sports events planned to commemorate youm-e- pakistan in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI:District Sports Department Rawalpindi has chalked out a plan to organize sports events including Badminton, Table Tennis, Archery, Football, Basket Ball, Cricket, Squash and Hockey competitions to commemorate Youm-e-Pakistan on March 23 in a befitting manner.
Addressing a meeting here on Saturday, District Sports Officer Malik Waqar Hussain said that competitions would be held in Sports Complex, Liaquat Bagh besides in different school, Colleges and Universities.
He said that under the directives of DC Rawalpindi Talat Mehmood Gondal, different sports competitions were being arranged for celebrating Youm-e- Pakistan enthusiastically in the district. APP/AFP
