People voting in Russian presidential elections today

MOSCOW:In the Russia Federation, presidential elections are being held today (Sunday).
The polling has already begun in the far eastern part of the country, as eighty-five Russian regions cover eleven time zones.
Eight candidates including sitting President Vladimir Putin are run for the office.
Fifteen hundred foreign observers from one hundred nine countries are monitoring the elections. APP/AFP
