Met office predicts hot, dry weather

ISLAMABAD-Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of Sindh, Balochistan, Punjab and Lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next twelve hours.

However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in Kashmir, Potohar region, Lahore, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Islamabad, Peshawar valley, Mardan and Kohat during evening/night.

Dust raising wind with isolated rain-thunderstorm is also expected in south Punjab, north east Balochistan and upper Sindh during the period.

Temperature of some major cities recorded this morning:       

Islamabad and Muzaffarabad twenty-two degree centigrade, Lahore and Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-five, Quetta nineteen, Gilgit sixteen and Murree twenty degree centigrade.

According to met office forecast about Occupied Kashmir, the weather in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramulla is expected to be partly cloudy with chances of rain-thunderstorm.

Temperature recorded this morning in Srinagar was twenty-six, Jammu twenty-eight, Leh eight, Pulwama and Shopian sixteen, Anantnag eighteen and  Baramulla seventeen degree centigrade.
