LAHORE – Should Pakistan Cricket Board Chief Ehsan Mani be sacked?
Following Pakistan cricket team’s defeat against arch-rivals India yesterday during ICC World Cup match, a resolution seeking to remove Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani, Chief Selector Inzemamul Haq and other responsible for the defeat has been moved in the Punjab Assembly.
The resolution was submitted by Member Punjab Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Aziza Fatima.
The resolution stated that people of the country were angry over Pakistan’s defeat against India.
It further stated that neither the PCB planned for the world cup nor it could induct extraordinary player in the team due to which disappointment prevails among the masses.
The resolution demanded to form a high-level committee to ascertain the reasons behind Pakistan’s poor performance. The committee should also investigate how the players were partying on the night of the match at a night club.
