KP government launches yet another initiative for tourism promotion in the province

PESHAWAR - The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched a mobile application to attract tourists to archaeological sites in the province.

Minister for Tourism Muhammad Atif Khan inaugurated the application in Peshawar today.

Speaking on the occasion, he hoped that the application will help tourists to know about historical and archaeological sites in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He lauded the US Embassy in Islamabad for helping the Archeology Department in creation of the mobile application.

Atif Khan said five-hundred-million rupees have been allocated for rehabilitation of archaeological sites.

He said government is planning to construct a Buddha city in Takht-Bhai area of district Mardan.
