Weather forecast across Pakistan for next 24 hours: PMD

LAHORE – Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has expressed the likelihood of rainfall in several cities of the country on Monday.

As per the prediction, more rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in south Punjab (Multan, D.G.Khan, Bahawalpur divisions), north Balochistan (Zhob, Kalat divisions), while at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Sukkur divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. ------------------------------

Hot and dry weather is expected elsewhere in the country.

According to the synoptic situation, weak moist currents from Arabian sea are continuously penetrating over upper and central parts of the country. ------------------------------

A westerly wave is still affecting upper parts of the country and may persist during next 24 hours.
