Objections raised against Imran Khan nomination papers from three constituencies

LAHORE – Opponents candidates have raised objections against the nomination papers of PTI chairman Imran Khan in three constituencies.

In NA-131 Lahore, Babar Awan appeared before the returning officer who summoned Imran Khan in person to answer to the objections.

In NA-95 Mianwali, Manzoor Ahmed has challenged the nomination papers of the PTI chairman.

In the application, he stated that the nomination papers do not bear the same signatures on different forms. He said that Imran Khan has not given the details of criminal cases against him.

In NA-53 Islamabad, Imran Khan did not appear before the returning officer despite the summons to respond to the objections.

Rai Tajmmal, associate of Babar Awan, represented Imran Khan and sought exemption from appearance for Babar Awan.

The returning officer reserved the judgment on the application.
