CJP takes notice of non-issuance of CNICs to transgenders

LAHORE: Hearing on a notice taken by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar over non-issuance of computerized national identity cards to the transgenders will be held in Lahore on Monday.
A bench headed by Chief Justice will hear the case at Lahore Registry of Supreme Court.
Notices have already been issued to Chief Secretary Punjab and other concerned officials.
