Af-Pak: Why Afghan Deputy FM is arriving in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: (APP) Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister Hekmat Khalil Karzai will head a delegation to Islamabad on Monday for discussions on the issues related to Torkham border crossing and other matters of border management.
The Afghan delegation would be arriving Pakistan in response to an invitation to the Afghan National Security Advisor and Foreign Minister by Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, said a press release of the Foreign Office on Saturday.
"Pakistan welcomes the visit and looks forward to meaningful deliberations through a constructive engagement between the two sides with a view to promoting bilateral relations as well as peace and stability of our two countries, and the region," it added.
