Moharram ul Harram moon sighting today in Pakistan

A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held in Quetta today for sighting the crescent of Muharram-ul-Haram, the first month of the Islamic calendar.
Chairman of the committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad will announce the final decision regarding the moonsighting.
The 1st of Muharram will be on Wednesday if the moon is sighted today, whereas, it will be on Thursday if the moon is not sighted today.
Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs Department Secretary Dr Tahir Raza Bukhari will preside over the meeting of the zonal committee.
Members of the committee and the representatives of the Met Department will also attend the meeting.
