Curfew and strict restrictions imposed in Srinagar July 18, 2020

ISLAMABAD-In occupied Kashmir, the authorities have imposed curfew in Srinagar and several other parts to stop people from anti-India demonstrations.
The troops sealed all entry and exit points of Soura area of Srinagar and launched door to door searches.
Indian troops and police personnel continued their cordon and search operations in several other districts of Kashmir valley including Srinagar, Budgam, Kupwara, Islamabad and Pulwama.
Meanwhile, Indian armed forces have been allowed to build permanent settlements in occupied Kashmir under a new policy.
Under the new approved policy, any area can be notified as strategic areas where the Indian armed forces can carry out unhindered constructions and other related activities.
