Mandwa Film club to celebrate 1st anniversary

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The first anniversary of Mandwa Film Club would be held on July 23 to celebrate successful screening of Pakistani and International films, at Lok Virsa Media Center.
Lok Virsa started the Mandwa Film Club last year and screened classic films every Saturday.
Executive Director Lok Virsa Fouzia Saeed told APP, "In an event Aijaz Gul would present the history of Films through super hit songs of mid 70's along with dress code.
"We will have Special guest from Hyderabad with whom guests would play `Film Kasoti'.guest may come with the name of their favourite film to play `Film Kasoti' with Special guest."
"Guests are supposed to dress in mid 70s film style.This would recreate urban folklore and would be fun to wear bell bottoms, ringlets and thick side burns", she added.
To enjoy the potluck meal guest would bring traditional and exiting dishes.
The event will also be streamed live on Lok Virsa's official website: www.lokvirsa.org.pk from 6 pm onwards.
