CM pays surprise inspection visit to THQ Hospital, police station Kahuta

LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar paid surprise inspection visit to Tehsil Headquarter (THQ) Hospital and Police Station Kahuta.

According to a handout, after reaching Rawalpindi from Multan, Usman Buzdar went straight to the police station where he examined the daily register and talked to the confined accused about different problems.
Talking on the occasion, he assured that shortage of staff would be soon removed and added that he would not tolerate any kind of excess with the confined accused.

The Chief Minister also inspected the facilities provided to the patients in THQ Hospital Kahuta. He inquired after the patients and ordered to hold an inquiry about the shortage of medicines in the Hospital. He also ordered to hold an inquiry against CEO (Health) and Deputy District Health Officer and said that fact-finding report should be sent to the Chief Minister's Office within 48 hours. He directed to further improve the medical facilities of the Hospital.

A large number of people gathered on the arrival of the Chief Minister. Usman Buzdar listened to their problems and issued directions for their early solution.
The Chief Minister said that he was committed to improve the working of the hospitals, adding that best medical facilities would be provided to the patients. He expressed his displeasure over the bad condition of Kahuta Road and ordered to hold an inquiry about it.

He said that Commissioner Rawalpindi should bring out facts within 48 hours and responsible persons should be identified as well. "The resources are a sacred trust of the nation and their correct utilization will be ensured by the government," he added.
