Turkey says it is ready to take any steps necessary against a Syrian Kurdish militia to ensure security of its borders.
This was stated in a statement after a meeting of the National Security Council chaired by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Meanwhile, Turkey's top security body has recommended extending the state of emergency for three more months for the sixth time since a failed 2016 coup.
