In a surprise, Indian Army claims killing Abdul Rashid Ghazi held responsible for Pulwama Attack

*KARACHI: In another false claim, Indian media reported that Abdul Rasheed Ghazi was killed on Monday by Indian army.*

In a fresh propaganda against Pakistan, the Indian media had on Sunday blamed Pakistan for the alleged Pulwama attack by linking it with Abdul Rasheed Ghazi.

The Pulwama attack, on February 14, had killed 44 Indian paramilitary forces.

Alleged key suspect in the Pulwama attack, Abdul Rasheed Ghazi was reportedly killed by Indian security forces.

Ghazi was killed in 2007 during the Lal Masjid operation launched by the then president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf.

Rasheed with his brother Abdul Aziz used to run the Lal Masjid in Islamabad and the adjoining Jamia Hafsa seminary.

According to Indian media’s claim Rasheed is a close associate of Masood Azhar and one of his most trusted commanders.

Local Indian media admitted that no official confirmation about Ghazi’s killing had been given though.

According to the reports, the Indian security forces also neutralised Abdul Rasheed Ghazi’s abettors.

Indian media sources said the key suspect had trained the suicide bomber who attacked the CRPF convoy with a car laden with explosives that left 40 Indian soldiers dead.

Ghazi was reportedly blown up with two other persons in a building where they were hiding.
