Punjab leads in governance quality: PILDAT

ISLAMABAD: According to a survey by Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT), Punjab leads in quality of governance when compared with other provinces.
Comparative analysis of PILDAT shows that Punjab province is leading with sixty five point five percent score followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at sixty three percent, Balochistan at 60.5 percent and Sindh at 59.7 percent.
The survey admits that quality of governance in general is improving in the provinces.
Punjab has bagged highest scores in Rule of Law, Management of Economy and Service Delivery, while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa leads in Social Indicators and Administrative Effectiveness.
Punjab demonstrated significant improvement in twenty two parameters, followed by KP with significant improvement in thirteen parameters, Sindh in eleven parameters and Balochistan in ten parameters.
