Punjab government decides to start counter terrorism operations in bordering areas of province

LAHORE: Punjab government has decided to launch surgical operation with the help of Rangers in bordering areas of Punjab. The decision was taken in the meeting between Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif and Lahore Corps Commander Lt. Gen. Sadiq Ali.
As per details, Lt. Gen. Sadiq Ali called on Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif here at Wednesday. Both dignitaries discussed security and law and order situation of province.
Sources claimed that Rangers will start operation with the collaboration of other Law Enforcement Agencies in border areas of province. Initially, operation will be started in Rajinpur, Tonsa and other surrounding areas.
Sources added that Punjab government will support Rangers, Police and other Law Enforcement Agencies during surgical operation.
Operation will also conduct throughout all the borders areas throughout the province.
It is also worthy to mention here that Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah had refused to acknowledged the media reports over the launch of operation in Punjab.
