Afghan President Ashraf Ghani makes an offer to the Afghan Taliban

Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has invited the Taliban to Kandahar for holding discussion about peace in the country.
During his visit to the province, the Afghan President said if the Taliban are willing to bring peace, they can come to Kandahar to hold talks with the delegation of Afghan government.
Earlier, chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley held talks with the Taliban peace negotiators in Doha, Qatar, to urge a reduction in violence across Afghanistan.
