Interior ministry directs to issue visas to Kulbhushan Yadav’s kin

ISLAMABAD: The Interior Ministry has on Monday directed the authorities to issue visas to the wife and mother of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav.

The wife and mother of Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav will be issued visas on humanitarian grounds.

Sources said that the arrested Indian spy’s kin will meet him on December 25.

Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi had received visa applications from Kulbhushan Jadhav’s mother and wife for the purpose of meeting the spy who was apprehended in Pakistan in March of 2016.

Security forces had arrested Jadhav from Balochistan on March 3, last year, after he reportedly entered the area from Iran. Kulbhushan Yadav was charged with spying and inciting terrorism and sectarianism in the country.

Pakistan had sentenced the former Indian Navy officer to death for espionage and terrorism.
