11 Afghan policemen killed in Helmand

In Afghanistan, eleven police personnel were killed when Taliban attacked police checkpoint in the southern Helmand province today.
According to a spokesman of Governor Helmand province, Afghan forces eventually repelled the attack in the provincial capital, Lashkar Gah. He said Taliban also suffered casualties.
Meanwhile, an Afghan woman was killed and five other people were wounded when a suicide bomber attacked a convoy of the NATO forces in Kandahar province.
