NGO Activists held outside Lal Masjid for holding demonstration against cleric Abdul Aziz

ISLAMABAD: 5 male and 4 female members of Civil Society were arrested by police for holding demonstration against Lal Masjid cleric Abdul Aziz outside Lal Masjid. As per details, civil society members held protest against Lal Masjid Cleric Abdul Aziz on the occasion of first death anniversary of APS martyrs. Police arrested 9 members of civil society and after few hours they were released by police. On the other hand, Interior Minister Ch. Nisar has taken notice of the matter and suspended the responsible police officers. Ch. Nisar said that everyone has right of demonstration. He also ordered to IG to give report of the matter. Protestors raised banners against Abdul Aziz and chanted slogans against him. Active member of human right organization addressed the protestors and said that those people are wrong who say that they are with Daesh. She said that Lal Masjid Cleric Abdul Aziz is accomplice of Taliban.
