Federal Cabinet accords approval to export of PPE August 18, 2020

ISLAMABAD-  Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has said that Cabinet has given the approval for Sugar import to overcome the shortage and resolve the current situation in the country.

He was addressing the media briefing after the cabinet meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday.

He said Cabinet members presented a standing ovation to Prime Minister Imran Khan over completion of successful completion of two parliamentary years.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan presented Kashmir issue with courage and bravery in United Nations. He said in the leadership of Imran Khan Government successfully cops with COVID -19.

He said that cabinet has given the approval to export of masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) prepared in Pakistan.

He said that federal cabinet has approved the implementation of Pakistan Essential Services act 1953 on the employees of Pakistan Television.

He said Cabinet meeting also decided to establish Hajj and Pension Fund .He said payments of pension to the pensioners is a big issue and Prime Minister has directed to include best experts of world in management of Pension Fund. The Information Minister said 470 billion rupees pension is being paid to the retired employees of federal government. 

He said that economic situation is improving in the country after overcoming the Coronavirus situation in the country.
