Azadi train arrives in city of saints, Multan
MULTAN: Pakistan Railway Azadi Train on Friday evening reached the city of saints, Multan, amid warm welcome and
National spirit.
      
A huge crowed of people carrying National flags were present at 
the railway station for the reception of Azadi Train.
     
Officer Incharge Azadi Train told APP that the train would
stay for two nights in Multan to entertain the visitors.
      
Folk artists including Liaqat Ali representing Balochistan,
Junior Allan Faqeer Sindh, Krishan Lal, Mithu Jee Cholistan, Sajid
Ali Punjab, Ijaz Hussain Gilgit-Baltistan and Ali Imran Azad Jammu
Kashmir also performed at Railway Station and got big applause from
the audience.
      
Ejaz Hussain a singer from Gilgit-Baltistan said people
of Multan's reception of Azadi Train would be remembred forever. He
said he really enjoyed singing in jam packed railway station. 
      
People of Multan highly appreciated Pakistan Railway for
arranging special train to educate students and general public about
the history and culture of Pakistan.
      
Azadi train started its journey on August 12 from Margala
Islamabad Railway Station and reached Multan via Peshawar,
Noshehra, Attock, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Lalamsa, Gujrat, Gujranwala,
Pattoki, Sahiwal and Khanewal railway stations.
