Pakistan' first Pro Wrestling competition to be attended by wrestlers of 15 countries

ISLAMABAD: (APP) The first ever pro wrestling competitions will be held in various cities of the country from November 29 to December 8.

"As many as 24 reknown professional wrestlers from 15 countries will chip in the event that will be held in country's major cities including Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Gujranwala and Faisalabad", Khanzeb Mehsud, the spokesman for the organizers of the event told APP on Thursday.

He said the wrestling contests would introduce a new era of sports activities in the country. "The event will not only provide a new sort of entertainment to the people of Pakistan but will also pave way for the return of international sports activities," he said.

He said Pakistan's only professional wrestler Badshah Khan, who features in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) would also be seen in the action during these competitions.

The event is being organized by European company, Wrestling Stars and Pakistan's event management company, Masscomm Solutions.
