Shortage of currency spreads in India

NEW DELHI:In India, the shortage of currency has spread to more states.
After Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Madhya Pradesh, where people have been facing acute shortage of currency for the past few weeks now people in Maharashtra, Bihar and Gujarat are also facing the problem.
People in these states could not find cash as ATMs were seen 'out of service. Bankers suspect hoarding of Rs 2,000-notes as cause of the currency shortage. APP/AFP
