Karakoram Express narrowly escapes disaster

SHEIKHUPURA – Karachi-bound Karakoram Express narrowly escaped disaster as the train engine caught fire near Sheikhupura Railway Station on Tuesday.
According to details, Karakoram Express was on its way to Karachi from Lahore when the engine caught fire near Sheikhupura Railway Station. No damage to the bogies of the trained was reported in the incident.
Railway traffic on the Lahore-Karachi track was suspended after the incident. Two trains were stopped at Joyawala and Farooqabad railway stations.
