Brazil President impeached by Lower House of Parliament over corruption Charges

BRASILIA: Brasilian President Dilma Rousseff impeached by Lower House of Parliament over corruption charges.
The session was chaired by house speaker Eduardo Cunha that result 367 of the 513 votes in favour of impeachment.
Workers party leader Jose Guimaraes claimed that the result is clear and the fight is now in the courts, streets and senate.
As per report, now the case is forwarded to the senate and it will decide whether Rousseff should be put on trial or not.
Rousseff said in a TV address “this is the greatest legal and political fraud in the history of the country.”
She urged Brazilian nation to support democracy.
Thousands of protesters of pro and anti-impeachment protested outside the lower house.
Dilma Rousseff also has a right to appeal in Supreme Federal Tribunal which is the highest court of Brazil.
