QUETTA: The unidentified armed attackers shot dead two BalochistanConstabulary personnel and injured another at a flyover on Double Road ofQuetta on Thursday morning.

According to officials, the personnel were part of Rapid Response Force andgoing to perform their routine duties when targeted by unidentified armedmen.

The attackers riding a motorcycle opened fire on them and sped away, policesaid.

As result of the intense firing, all received gunshot injuries and two ofthem succumbed to their wounds during the medical treatment at the CivilHospital, officials said.

Soon after the incident, security forces roped off the crime scene andstarted collecting the evidences.

This was the second incident of its nature in last three days in Quetta.

Earlier, a police constable was shot dead by unidentified attackers onRaisani Road of the provincial capital on January 16.
